Posted 2004/11/09 1999-2004 Fifth Anniversary
The French Tutorial was born 5 years ago from the concept that learning French should be easy and free.
At that time, the site consisted in a few pages manually edited and I was excited when the site reached 20 visitors a day!
Since that time, the site grew, the production methods got improved and the design was revamped in 2003.
1,500 visitors a day come to the site from 227 countries around the world and 300 of them register to access to the forum and to download the Personal Edition.
Total number of users is now nearly 50,000! Moreover, the French Tutorial is ranked #1 by Google.com when searching for "learn French", and it received Yahoo! Sun Glasses in recognition of its overall quality.
I would like to warmly thank all of you for your support and donation. The site will keep on improving with new services and new lessons thanks to your help. To show my gratitude, I recently released the Printable Edition. This version is an all-in-one PDF file that Deluxe members can download with no extra charge!
